Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani outlined an ambitious vision for India's future at the Annual General Meeting, highlighting major investments across ports, airports, energy, artificial intelligence-driven infrastructure, healthcare, defence and digital ecosystems. The conglomerate also announced expansion plans aimed at strengthening the country's long-term economic growth.

Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Wednesday unveiled an expansive roadmap for India's future growth, asserting that infrastructure and intelligence will be the twin pillars shaping the nation's next phase of development. Addressing the group's Annual General Meeting, he declared that physical infrastructure provides a nation with strength while intelligence delivers strategic mastery, adding that both have become inseparable in the modern era.

Adani said the conglomerate recorded total revenue of Rs 2.92 lakh crore in the financial year 2025-26, marking a 7.4 per cent increase from the previous year. Operating profit stood at Rs 94,834 crore, while the Net Debt-to-EBITDA ratio was maintained at 3.3 times. Net profit rose by 13.9 per cent to Rs 46,376 crore.

During the financial year, the group invested more than Rs 1.5 lakh crore in infrastructure projects, accounting for over 30 per cent of India's total new private-sector capital expenditure. Gautam Adani described the investment as a reflection of the group's commitment to nation-building and the infrastructure required to support the country's next stage of growth.

The conglomerate handled more than 500 million tonnes of cargo during the year and is targeting annual cargo handling capacity of one billion tonnes by 2030. The Vizhinjam International Seaport crossed one million twenty-foot equivalent units during its first year of operations. Adani said the achievement represented the fastest pace attained by any Indian port and signaled the country's emergence on the global transshipment map.
